About

I am happiest when I am in the middle of a creative project—which is basically all of the time.  All of my adult life, I have been involved in some way with art, architecture, and boatbuilding.

For thirty-four years  I have lived in a small cottage tucked in an old apple orchard in the mountains of New England. Married to a woman who spent a decade of her life as a professional sailor, we spend as much of each summer as we can cruising the coast of Maine on a classic Friendship Sloop.

She is gone now, but for twelve years I have shared cottage and sailboat with a small Mexican Grey Wolf.
